Simplifying clutter is easier than you think
“Clutter isn’t just stuff on your floor, it’s anything that gets between you and the life that you want to be living.”
– Peter Walsh
In order to figure out what IS clutter in your life, you need to decide what you want your life/ business/ etc. to look like long-term. Once you figure out what you DO want, everything else that doesn’t match with your desires is considered clutter.
Areas to look at include:
- your home
- your business
- relationships
- your body
- spirituality
- your thoughts and emotions
- etc.
Inspect these areas of your life, deatch from anything that doesn’t align with your values and the way you live, and you’ll find your life becomes simpler.
Simplifying clutter isn’t going to happen overnight.
It took a while for it to get into your life, so you need to understand that it’s going to take some time and consistency to clear it out. And it’s something that you will need to do again and again over the years as things change.
Simplifying what clutter is, looking at where you want to go in life/ business/ etc. and eliminating what doesn’t match your goals/ desires is one of the easiest ways to look at how to declutter your life.
