We gather together on a bi-weekly basis via video and declutter one Pomodoro session at a time.

Picture this:

You just got the kids to bed, all you want to do is relax and binge watch Netflix, but you know you have to finish that client project tonight. You’ve already procrastinated long enough.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Walking through your home, you trip over a bunch of shoes, none of which are yours. That frustrates you because you know they should be in the closet, not hanging around on the floor.⁣⁣

⁣⁣In fact, it seems your family dropped a lot of their stuff and just kept walking. Was that because they couldn’t be bothered to put it away, or did they expect someone else to pick it up for them?⁣⁣

You’re about to pick everything up, but remind yourself of the client work that HAS to be done, so you make a mental note to get the kids to clean the mess tomorrow. Hopefully this time there won’t be a fight.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Time to head to the kitchen to make yourself a cup of coffee. It’s going to be another late night. But you can’t find “your mug”. You know, the one that fits the perfect amount of coffee/ tea in it and keeps it the perfect temperature the whole time?⁣⁣

⁣⁣The date is over three weeks ago.⁣⁣

The sessions are approximately 2-3hrs each, but you can join at any point and stay for as long as you need that day. This is a short bi-weekly commitment for long-term results.

I get it, CAD $800 pays for almost half my rent. So it does seem like an investment. This is what one of my clients said about decluttering her space:

Money can be found in many different ways when you declutter your space. Finding unpaid invoice, cash or even selling some of the “stuff” you no longer want, can be an option too.
